Over the last few weeks, Playtech has been busy signalling the launch of their new range of superhero themed slots. After losing their Marvel superhero license (thanks in no small part to Disney), Playtech snapped up the DC/Warner Bros license from under Microgaming’s noses. Now, they have set to work developing a range of new slots with DC themes, in particular those based on the 1960s Batman television series.
Batman and Mr Freeze Fortune
We’ve already seen several Batman themed slots released, and now Playtech have unveiled one which is based on Mr Freeze. Played over 1,024 paylines, this slot is going to be simply massive. It will cost at least 1.00 per spin, but you do seem to get plenty of value for your money when it comes to wagers.
Gameplay
Batman, Robin, and Mr Freeze can appear as stacked icons on the reels of this slot. A cross can also appear in the middle of the reels which will trigger a Polar Prize Vault feature, which could offer one of four randomly triggered Polar Prizes. Such prizes can include multiplier wild symbols worth up to 5x the normal rate of pay, win multipliers worth up to 10x the normal rate of pay, a random wild (which will be applied to all identical symbols on the reels), and a free spins bonus.
Free Spins
In the free spins feature, it is possible for players to win as many as 15 free games, with 2,400 paylines present during the feature.
