Playson have released a new Egyptian themed slot named Solar King. This is the third slot in the series following on from Solar Queen and Solar Temple. Features include flaming frames, scatters, wilds and progressive multipliers.

Solar King is a 5 reel, 4 row video slot with 20 paylines and can be played across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. This high variance slot has an RTP of 95.45% and wagering starts from 20p up to £100 per spin.The gold framed reels sit on a desert background with symbols of the 10-Ace royals, a cat, a lion, a falcon, a stork, Horus, Bastet and the Pharaoh. The latter has the highest value and will appear stacked.The wild is a sun with WILD on it and the scatter is the bird of Ra.

Gameplay

Landing 3 scatter symbols on the 1^st, 3^rd and 5^th reels will trigger the free spins feature and award you with 10 free spins. If a sun symbol appears on the reels during this feature, it will transform into a sticky wild.If a sun symbol lands during the base game it will activate the Flaming Frames feature which will last for 10 spins. Each sun symbol will activate a flaming frame which will lock into position until the last spin, where all of the sun symbols will transform into wilds.If a sun symbol appears in a flaming frame, it will have a multiplier attached and each sun landing in that frame will increase it by x1.There are many Egyptian themed slots on the market and Solar King is not unique in any way. The only plus is a progressive wild multiplier and a Flaming Frames feature which can see you pocket a decent win. The graphics and animations are pretty good, but the RTP is pretty low and potential wins are only worth up to x2,221 of your wager.
