Gizmo Returns After Midnight
Light & Wonder has included characters and objects from Gremlins throughout the presentation. Gizmo stands beside the reels, while Billy and Kate feature among the paying symbols. The clock, red car and 3D glasses provide further references to the film.
Fuzz Balls have a more substantial role. Acting as a Wild, they appear with cash values attached, while Gizmo scatters additional Fuzz Balls across the reels. Mystery Stacked Reels reveal matching symbols across mystery positions before wins are calculated.
An Instant Win can randomly trigger when Fuzz Balls are present. Gizmo then places Box symbols onto the grid, with each Box collecting the cash values displayed by the Fuzz Balls.
Chicken Buckets Trigger Hold & Spin
The Chicken Buckets reference the infamous midnight feeding rule while serving as the trigger for the principal bonus feature.
Orange, Purple and Green Chicken Buckets correspond to More Money, Jackpot and Expanded Reels, respectively. Landing a combination of coloured buckets activates the Hold & Spin with modifiers.
More Money increases the values attached to Fuzz Balls, while the Jackpot modifier introduces Mini, Minor, Major and Grand prizes. Expanded Reels double the height of the grid from three to six rows, creating additional positions during the Hold & Spin round.
