Kingdoms Rise Reign of Ice is the 4th slot in the series from Playtech. The slot has three progressive jackpots along with multipliers and re-spins.

About the slot

Kingdoms Rise Reign of Ice has five reels and 25 paylines. It’s available across all devices from 10p to £2,000 per spin. The stone-framed reels sit in front a a blue background filled with giant icicles. Symbols are pink, purple, blue and green gemstones, daggers, flails, axes and the characters Valkyrie and Barbarian. The latter pays 12x for five of a kind on a payline. There are two wild symbols; one is a gold-blue gem that only appears on the 3rd, 4th and 5th reels and substitutes all other symbols, barring the ice hammer. The ice hammer is the 2nd wild symbol, which will only appears on the 2nd reel.

Gameplay

There are a few features in Kingdoms Rise Reign of Ice, these include:

Hammer Respins

If the ice hammer lands on the reels with the Valkyrie or Barbarian, the Hammer re-spins trigger when they try to release the hammer from the ice.

For each hammer is added to the bar above the reels and comes with a multiplier; the more hammers you collect, the higher the multiplier. Any wilds landing on the reels during the respin lock on the reels. If a hammer wild lands, this unfreezes the wilds and transforms them into multiplier wilds. The feature ends when there are no hammers left in the bar.

Kingdom Rise shop

There’s the option to buy into the features from the Kingdom Rise shop using tokens. Symbols land with tokens attached, which are collected to purchase hammers for the Hammer re-spins.

There’s the option to buy the Barbarian re-spins for 800 tokens, where only the Barbarian symbols land on the reels. One or more Barbarians trigger the multiplier bar, and the more Barbarians, the higher the multiplier, up to 200x. Each additional Barbarian that locks on the reels resets the re-spins to 3.

The Valkyrie re-spins feature costs 1,000 tokens, and only Valkyrie symbols land and lock on the reels, awarding a prize for each one. If you fill a reel with the Valkyries, you get a 5x multiplier, and each Valkyrie that locks on the reels will reset the re-spins to 3.

The three progressive jackpots trigger on any spin and include the Daily Strike jackpot, which has a set time and date; the Power Strike jackpot will be won when it reaches the amount shown; and the Epic Jackpot, which has no limits and can be won at any time.

The Kingdoms Rise Reign of Ice is an impressive slot with superb graphics and animations. Pocketing 1,500x with the highest value symbol and 5x multiplier in the Hammer re-spins is possible. This is a high variance slot with an RTP of 96.26%.
