Bally takes you on a trip down the river with China River. Features include free spins with multipliers, wild substitutions, mystery stacks and 3 progressive jackpots.

About the slot

China River is a 5 reel, 30 payline slot, available across all devices from 30p to £30 per spin. The reels are set on a background of lush greenery with a beautiful pink peony flower.  The low-value symbols are brightly coloured 9 to the Ace royals. The high values include jade frogs, a lotus flower, a gold pot and a Chinese symbol. The latter is the most valuable, awarding x33.33. The wild is the golden pheasant, and the scatter symbol a gold coin.

Gameplay

A random symbol is selected and appears as a mystery stacked symbol before the spins commence. The wild cannot be a stacked symbol. Once the reels stop spinning, the mystery symbol is revealed.

Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters awards 8, 10, or 15 free spins, respectively. The spins have an x2 multiplier, and the feature can be re-triggered with additional scatters.

Three progressive jackpots must drop before reaching their limit: the Minor jackpot, worth up to 1,500; the Major jackpot, worth up to 20,000; and the Epic jackpot, worth up to 200,000. They are all triggered randomly.

China River is okay but not outstanding. The maximum you can win is 1,000x the bet unless you are lucky enough to win one of the jackpots. This game has a medium variance and an RTP of 97%.
