Churchill Downs expansion

It isn’t only NetEnt who are looking to grow their market presence in New Jersey, as this is not the first deal that Churchill Downs have announced this year, with agreements being inked with both SBTech and Golden Nugget in 2018.Speaking of the new deal with NetEnt, Ian Williams, President of Churchill Downs Interactive, said:“There is no doubt NetEnt games have proven to be player favourites in every market they have been deployed. We are looking forward to adding hit titles Jumanji, Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest to offer the best possible experience to our players.”

NetEnt US growth

After a disappointing second quarter thanks to a slow down in the UK market, NetEnt stated in July that action was being taken, and they are backing up that promise.A license has been applied for in Pennsylvania, which should have a legal and regulated iGaming market before the end of 2018, while the Churchill Downs will help cement NetEnt’s place at the heart of the market in New Jersey.Managing Director for the Americas at NetEnt, Erik Nyman, said of the agreement:“We are excited to start delivering our popular game titles to Churchill Downs, probably most known for its iconic flagship horse-racing event, the Kentucky Derby.“With our thrilling game titles, I am confident that we will be an important contributor to growth in online casino for Churchill Downs.”It is likely that this will not be the last new partnership made by either of these companies in the near future.
