DreamVegas Review
People don’t tend to get excited about new online casinos anymore, at least, not particularly often.
That isn’t to say that the industry is losing the interest of its players, it’s merely that there are now so many options available that any new site has to work hard to even get noticed, let alone get any actual attention.
In the last few years, there are a few sites that have made an immediate impact on arrival, and many of these are on the same network, the likes of Casimba, Grand Ivy, Miami Dice, and Spinland.
Dream Vegas is the newest online casino to be joining those successful ranks, having been created by White Hat Gaming on behalf of Caddell in May (2018).
At the time of writing, Dream Vegas is in its most embryonic of stages, it is still finding its feet, but like a wild animal forced to protect itself from predators from birth, there is no adaptation time available for Dream Vegas, the pressure is on for this online casino to follow in the footsteps of its network sisters, and if it doesn’t manage to do that, we’re all likely to be pretty disappointed.
All signs look positive for Dream Vegas, but let’s take a closer look and see how true that is.
Design and theme
It is within its design that Dream Vegas has its first slip up. That is not to say that this site looks bad, because it certainly doesn’t, it has the same impressive execution of its concept that its predecessors show, it is the concept itself that is the problem.
As the name suggests, there’s a Vegas theme here, and frankly, most players in the online casino world are bored of that now.
The Vegas skyline in the background, the suave looking models in the foreground, it all feels a little painting-by-numbers, which is a shame when you consider the unique designs of the likes of Spinland.
Navigation is simple here, thanks to various thumbnails allowing access to popular games at the Dream Vegas site, and faded animations of slot games and roulette wheels in the background add a nice touch, but it isn’t quite enough.
You’re unlikely to find a Vegas themed site that is put together as well as Dream Vegas is, but however good this site looks, and it does, the predictable and boring concept works against it.
Games
While Dream Vegas may pale in comparison to the sites that came before it in terms of design, it may well have a leg up on them all in terms of the games that are available here.
With titles coming from the likes of 1X2 Gaming, 2 By 2 Games, Aristocrat, Blueprint Gaming, Big Time Gaming, ELK Studios, Evolution Gaming, Foxium, Games Warehouse, Inspired Gaming, Just for the Win, Leander, Lightning Box Games, Magic Dreams, Merkur, Microgaming, Multicommerce, NetEnt, NYX, Probability Jones, Quickspin, Rabcat, Sigma Gaming, Seven Deuce, Spieldev, Spike Games, Storm Gaming, and Thunderkick, there are over 1,000 games on offer here.
To have a brand new site with such a huge selection of casino games is almost unheard of and is a large part of the reason that Dream Vegas has already caught the attention of players and many within the industry.
With slots, table and card games, and more available in abundance, if you’re looking for a new place to play that brings you everything you could possibly want from an online casino, then in terms of content, Dream Vegas has you covered.
Is the software enough to make up for the lazy design concept? It might just be.
