Amuzi Gaming

Belize based operator Amuzi Gaming arrived on the iGaming scene in 2011, and since then has become a well-known and much loved provider of games to various online betting and gaming sites throughout the world.

Offering both downloadable and instant play games, Amuzi has made quite a name for itself, but there have always been concerns involving transparency.

Secretive nature

The iGaming industry is becoming increasingly reliant on transparency, especially from operators the size of Amuzi.

This creates a bit of an issue as Amuzi is, to say the least, somewhat secretive about its structure, as well as its licenses, and perhaps most concerningly, about any independent auditing of its products.

The most important thing in the iGaming world is trust, and this lack of transparency on the part of Amuzi does not provide the necessary reassurance for this trust to be gained.

Pros and Cons of Amuzi

Aside from the above, the other big issue with Amuzi is download times, downloading software from this provider has about the longest waiting time you are going to find, which instinctively makes one question whether it’s worth the wait, which is not a good instinct to have.

That being said, one will rarely decide that they are not worth the effort, as Amuzi creates top quality games for all mobile and desktop platforms.

Games

The focus here is clearly on slot games, with by far the greatest number of Amuzi games falling into this category, which is not necessarily a bad thing, as slots are clearly the most popular game type currently, but the provider could do with a bit more in other categories, for example there are only two table games to speak of, and under five varieties of video poker.

Top quality games from a strong and well reputed provider, but the lack of transparency and variety holds Amuzi back.

Matt's role is hands-on. He writes the code behind the offer feeds, the comparison tools readers use, and the back-office systems that keep every casino listing accurate and current. If you have used a feature on this site, the chances are he built it. He is also responsible for site performance, mobile usability, and the technical SEO that lets a small independent comparison site compete with much larger publishers.

Over 17 years in the industry, Matt has worked directly with affiliate platforms, casino operators, and software providers. He has seen the market move from desktop Flash slots to mobile-first HTML5, lived through every iteration of UK Gambling Commission rules, and built the systems that keep our coverage compliant as regulation evolves. He has a particular interest in responsible gambling tooling and player-fund safety — the parts of the industry most people do not see but that matter most.

Matt is a Companies House registered director (Take Marketing Limited, company no. 07619813) and is based in Lincolnshire, England.
