Spinata Grande is a Mexican themed video slot from Net Entertainment. It comes with 5 reels and 40 paylines, offering features such as free spins, colossal symbols and a bonus game for players to enjoy. This slot is non-progressive and comes with the maximum possible jackpot amount of £3,000. Players can spin Spinta Grande’s reels from £0.20 up to £200.

Theme

A Mexican fiesta comes to life on the reels of this colourful slot, complete with paper mache animals and candy-filled piñatas, it is clear that Net Entertainment wanted to capture the very essence of this celebration. A giant fish can be seen in the background along with a classic Mexican landscape scene, which shows colourful festivities and an equally festive reel presentation. Icons include a bull, fish, star, day of the dead skull and a slot machine. Other symbols such as 10, J, Q, K and A are also included on the reels.

Colossal Symbol

This slot uses colossal symbols instead of wilds but they are extremely similar despite the difference of their names. Any symbol in the game can be a colossal symbol, however the ‘Day of the Dead’ skull icon acts as the colossal wild during the free spins round only. The Mini-Slot feature is triggered by the colossal bonus symbol. Following this, three, six or nine Mini-Slot icons will pop up on the reels. During the bonus game, 3 free spins are triggered when three of the piñata star icons appear on the reels. Five free spins are triggered when three of these appear anywhere on the reels. The notion of the colossal symbol is a little confusing however and Spinata Grande probably would be a more enjoyable slot if the process of winning free spins wasn’t as confusing as it seems to be but after a few spins on these Mexican reels you are sure to get the hang of things.
