In June 2021, Stakelogic released a Greek mythology themed slot, called Sea God. The RTP is set at 95.21% with a top prize worth x1,162your wager. Features include expanding reels, scatters and wilds.

Slot details

Sea God is a 5 reel, 20-45 payline slot with a medium variance, and can be played across all devices from 20p up to £100 per spin. The design contains visually stunning graphics. The reels are set above a stormy sea with the sound of the waves crashing around, and Poseidon standing on a plinth holding his trident. The symbols are Jack-Ace royals, dolphins, sails, coins, unicorns, a Pantheon and the game logo. The latter is the most lucrative and is worth x15 your wager for 5 on a payline. All symbols can land as stacked symbols up to 6 high.

Gameplay

The wild symbol is Poseidon and the scatter symbol is the pearl. The Super Reels can come into play at random and will increase the grid to 9 rows in height with 45 paylines. You receive 3 spins with stacked symbols in play to help you land a decent winning combination.3, 4 or 5 scatters in view on a single spin pays out x2, x10 or x50 your wager respectively and you’re awarded with 8 free spins which are played across a 5×4 grid. If you land a scatter symbol on the 3rd reel, it activates the Super Reels feature and you will receive an extra 3 spins. You can opt to play the Super Stake at the cost of double your wager which increases your chances of triggering the free spins.

Verdict

Sea God is a compelling game, but the RTP is a bit on the low side, as is the top prize. The maximum paylines are a tad disappointing for a 5×9 expanded grid, I would have expected more. The only upside is that the Super Reels can be triggered in the base game.
