Software developer Stakelogic have released a new classic style slot with a bit of a difference. There are 8 reels on this slot named Runner 6 Runner. These will pay out wins on 6 sets of 3 reels as well as a Mystery Jackpot.

On Runner 6 Runner, each set of reels 1-3, 2-4, 3-5, 4-6, 5-7, and 6-8, has 5 paylines which will give you 30 paylines in total. Wagering starts from 20p up to £100 per spin, and it is playable across desktop, mobile and tablet devices. You have the choice of how many reels you wish to play with, and also the amount you wish to wager on each set.The reels are set inside a classic fruit machine like you would see in the arcades. Symbols are oranges, pears, strawberries, red 7’s, plums, bells, grapes, melons and stars. The latter has the highest value and will pay out 40 coins per line.

Gameplay

The Super Bet is activated when all 8 reels are in play, but this will cost you extra. You do have the added bonus of wild symbols being added to the play, but they only appear on reels 2-7 to help you achieve more wins. The Super Bet option is not available to UK players.The Mystery Progressive Jackpot is triggered at any time. The jackpot starts at £500 and is guaranteed to drop when it reaches the sum of £5,000, the maximum payout.Runner 6 Runner is certainly a retro-themed slot. I found the graphics to be a bit outdated although the set-up is quite unique. I was disappointed in the low RTP and the maximum potential winnings are only up to 2,500 coins unless you are fortunate enough to land the progressive jackpot. It remains to be seen if the classic slot players will be tempted to have a spin or 2.
