The Monkey Warrior from Pragmatic Play follows the Journey of the Monkey Warrior on his adventures, he posses magical power and strength as he searches out the money and treasures.

About

Monkey Warrior is based on a Japanese tv series of the late 1970s, early 80s, which was originally based on a 16th century Chinese novel. The series was called Monkey and then became known as Monkey Magic, the lead character was said to of been ‘born from an egg on a mountain top’, or so the theme song lyrics go.Visually the game is very nice, the background is of a beautiful garden and the reels are golden with fun and interesting symbols, the soundtrack has a very Asian sound. This is a 5 reel video slot with 243 ways to win, its playable from 25p to £125 per spin on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile devices with a medium to high variance and the RTP is set at 96.5%. The game offers a bonus round with free spins and only higher valued symbols during the feature, there is also a re-spin feature with cash prizes.

Gameplay

Symbols include the royals Q to the A, a green potion bottle, scrolls and characters from the series, Sandy, Pigsy and Tripitaka who is the highest paying and will give you 1, 2 and 20x your stake for 3, 4 or 5. Monkey himself is the wild and will substitute for all symbols.Monkey Warrior has 2 features:Free Spins feature – You need to find the Bonus symbol on reel 2, reel 3 and reel 4 during the same spin, you will get double your stake and 8 free spins on reels with only higher valued symbols, this feature can re-trigger with no limits.Money Re-spin feature – The Money symbol is a pink fruit, you need 6 during a spin to trigger the feature, you get your win and the standard symbols are taken away and the pink fruit lock into place, they have a cash value or one of the 4 jackpots. The reels are just full of fruit and blanks now and 5 re-spins are given. After each spin during the feature, you may be given 3 treasure chests to choose from which will give you between 1 and 3 re-spins. The feature ends when you either run out of re-spins or the reels are filled, the cash prizes are added up and you win that amount, or it is doubled if you fill the whole screen with fruit. The Jackpots are worth 30, 50, 100 or 200x your stake. We love this, but partly because we loved the tv series, so it brings back great memories. Visually its so much fun with the characters, its colourful and interesting with an Asian soundtrack that fits the game well. There are not many features but they are good and offer a decent payout of 6,080x your stake in the Money Re-spin feature and 4,860x your stake if the reels are filled with Tripitaka being the highest paying symbol.
