Lady of the Moon is a video slot, launched in August 2015, which revolves around the ancient Chinese tale of Prince Hou I and his wife Tschang O. The story goes that back in the era of the reign of Emperor Yau, the prince rode his magical horse to the Jasmine Sea. Here a sea goddess gave him the herb of immortality which he and his wife, Tschang O subsequently ate, after which they both ascended to the moon where they both live to this day. This Top Game title is proving to be a popular game thanks to its unique theme and bonus features.

Theme

If you’re a regular player on online slots then you might have noticed that china and other far eastern cultures have proven to be very popular themes. Lady of the Moon is yet another example of a Chinese themed game; however this slot adds its own unique twist on this trend. Tschang O is the main character of the game; she can be seen as a symbol on the reels looking mesmerizingly beautiful in traditional Chinese garments. A warrior shooting a bow and arrow, a warrior wielding an axe and a cute white rabbit are a few other symbols you can expect to see on the reels. Some special symbols which add extra high wins and even bonuses include the full moon, yellow shrubs, flowers and pestle and mortar.

How to play

The 13 reels of this five reel video slot are fixed with no room for adjustment. The game play is straightforward and similar to other slot games you might have played before. Every spin costs 13 coins, or one per pay line. All you have to do is choose the value of each of these coins; this can be anything between 1p and £5.

Bonuses and extras

The first of the two bonus features on offer in Lady of the Moon is the pick ‘em bonus which is triggered by finding three or more special symbols on one of your 13 pay lines. The game will ask you to choose between the Lady of the Moon herself and her earthly alter-ego Tschang O, whichever you decide will determine your prize which could be up to 3300 coins. The other bonus game is a round of 13 free spins which is triggered when three scatters appear on the reels at once.
