Theme
As you’ve probably guessed from the title, Jungle Jim is set deep in the jungle. Jim is our hero and leads an expedition through the jungle, which is full of interesting and pretty scary looking snakes, spiders, fish and a particularly formidable looking black panther. Even the plants look like something to be avoided. Other symbols include Jim, a professor and a female researcher. The wild is a jungle scene and the scatter is a number of wooden stakes. The crocodile acts as the bonus symbol.
Free Spins
Landing three or more of the crocodile bonus symbols on an active payline triggers the free spins round. Before you launch into your free games you’ll be taken to a different screen where you have to choose two crocodiles to determine how many spins and what multiplier you’ll receive. You can win up to 10 free games with up to a 5x multiplier applied. Free spins are played with the same number of paylines as the bet that activated them so it can pay to play all 15. Verdict
Jungle Jim is one of Microgaming’s older slot games and it shows. The game is entertaining enough with decent graphics and sound effects but it doesn’t quite measure up to the company’s more recent output in terms of bonus features.
