About Jelly Reels

The sweet extravaganza takes place on a huge 8×8 grid with a 16,777,216 winning ways. Available to play across all devices, bets range between 10p up to a whopping £10,000 per spin if you are brave enough! Volatility is variable and the RTP is just above average at 96.22% with a top prize of 2,500x the bet up for grabs. The grid sits on a pastel background of candy filled fields with jelly trees and fluffy blue clouds above. Symbols are all jelly fruit sweets like cherries, raspberries, stars, strawberries, watermelons, gummy bears, melons and 7’s.  The symbol values range between x50-x500 the bet for 8 matching symbols, they can also appear as 2×2 and 3×3 mega symbols. The rainbow-coloured jelly is the wild and substitutes all regular symbols to help form a win.

Gameplay

The game utilises the cascading wins mechanic where symbols in a winning combination are removed and the empty positions filled by new symbols, this feature ends when no more winning combinations are formed.Central to the game is the Hold the Jackpot bonus game, landing 3-5 gold coins awards a paid respin. The gold coins remain sticky in the hope of landing at least 6 to trigger the bonus game. Once triggered you now play on a 40-position grid with the top half of the grid locked. The triggering gold coins, and any further coins remain sticky. Only gold coins worth x1-x5 and snakes appear on the bottom half. You begin with 3 respins and the respins reset each time a gold coin lands on the grid. The snake moves towards the highest value coin leaving more gold coins in its trail, if it passes over a coin, it multiplies the value by x2.The upper positions are unlocked by filling the rows below with coins. Once unlocked they reveal the Mini, Minor or Major Jackpots worth x15, x30 and x150 the bet. Mystery symbols can transform into any special symbols, and silver coins add a multiplier of x1-x5 to the total of all coins on the lower grid. The feature ends when all the respins are used and the coin values are paid out or the grid is filled with gold coins which awards the Grand jackpot worth x2,500 of the bet.

Verdict

Jelly Reels is a fun game with plenty of action throughout. The ability to select your own volatility and the addition of the mega and snake symbols enhances the gaming experience. The only downside is the top prize of x2,500 it’s a tad on the low side but it does deliver the ultimate fun factor.
