Vampire slots rise from the dead with new Rival Gaming slot

Vampire-themed slots are back in business this week, with the launch of another game in the genre. This week, Rival Gaming unveiled their new Dark Hearts slot, and it is set to take the fight straight to Microgaming’s Immortal Romance. Whilst vampire-themed slots have sort of gone out of fashion (zombies seem to be the in-thing at this moment in time), Immortal Romance has continued to dominate a genre which seems to be at the height of its popularity at Halloween. How will this new one fare? For starters, Dark Hearts isn’t going to get quite the coverage that its more successful Microgaming counterpart has. It has been designed and developed by Rival Gaming, and there aren’t too many major European casinos which offer software from this developer.

About the Slot

There is no end to the similarities between the two slots though. Just like their rival’s slot, the developers have chosen to include storylines into the game. With few fewer characters than Immortal Romance, this slot tells the tale of Viktor, Willow and Marcus, and each of the characters drives their own free spin bonus, with players able to pocket between 10 and 30 spins, and 1x-3x multipliers in those bonuses.Dark-Hearts1Unlike Microgaming’s Immortal Romance, though, there are no randomly triggered features in this game. That is a bit of a drag and is surely going to be noticed by players. How successful Rival’s new game is, depends on several things. Firstly, it is a step by step rip-off of Immortal Romance, and that may infuriate loyal Microgaming fans. Secondly, it will not have the coverage (as we’ve already mentioned), and thirdly, it is not as jam-packed with features as its rival. The signs don’t look good for Dark Hearts, but time will be the deciding factor here.https://youtu.be/NRvryhzEBEg
