Two more players win major progressives over the weekend

Just when you think that leading progressive jackpot slot machines are paying out top prizes at a rate which simply won’t be bettered, two further slot machines add to that record. Last week, another two players scooped progressive jackpot prizes, playing IGT and Yggdrasil slots.Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen major progressive jackpot wins paid out on Net Entertainment’s Mega Fortune and Mega Fortune: Dreams slots, as well as Microgaming’s Mega Moolah slot. Now, two more jackpot wins have been acquired.

Isle O’ Plenty

First up is IGT’s Isle O’ Plenty progressive slot machine, which dishes out £1.2m to its winner. Sure, it may only be half the size of the recent Mega Fortune progressive jackpot win, but the win on the Irish luck-themed slot is still sizeable and does make its winner a millionaire overnight. To date, the largest ever win on an IGT Mega Jackpots slot stands at £2.1m (won in September 2013), but nobody would grumble at having over a million pounds in their back pocket. Since IGT changed their policy regarding pay rates, the winner of this prize will be picking up their jackpot in one lump sum.isleoplenty1

Joker Millions

Also dishing out the progressive prizes this week was Yggdrasil’s Joker Millions slot machine. This game coughed up £1.6m to its lucky player, which is immense when you consider that Joker Millions is one of the smaller, petite progressives you can play in the online casino world.jokermillions1A player hasn’t won a progressive prize on the Joker Millions slot since November when a £1.12m cash prize was paid out. Of course, the largest progressive prize paid out on this simple jackpot slot stands at £5.2m, so the most recent wins is miles off the mark. Again though, few people would grumble at having over a million and a half stashed in their account.
