Bookmakers in the UK are keeping a close eye on Jeremy Corbyn and how he handles the departure of seven members of his party yesterday, to form an Independent Party within the UK.

After the Labour Party split, a close eye is watching whether further MP’s from the Labour and Conservative Parties will join the Rebels, named as the ‘Gang Of Seven’.Corbyn’s leadership has been under scrutiny for some time now with the latest split seeing a shift in odds as to whether he will continue as Labour Party Leader.
Odds Slashed
Paddy Power has slashed odds of Jeremy Corbyn being replaced before the end of this year from 3/1 to 5/4.The bookmaker has 6/1 0dds that Corbyn will be replaced by the end of April, with 10/1 by the end of this month!Odds that Chuka Umuuna will be the next Prime Minister have been slashed from 100/1 to 50/1. Chuka Umuuna, who has been a thorn in Corbyn’s side, was a leading Labour Party MP for Streatham until his resignation in 2019 to join the Independent Group.A spokesman for Paddy Power said, “ It looks like it’s curtains for Corbyn this morning, as Labour announces a bitter split to rival Oasis’ in 2009.Our punters are confident he will be replaced as Labour Leader this year, potentially as soon as next month, after a flood of bets since the breakup was announced.”
