Paddy Power Launch New Sitcom Series Featuring Axed Soccer Pundits

Matt Le Tisser, Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson who were axed last month from Soccer Saturday, have launched a rival sitcom series with Paddy Power.

The new series named ‘Pundits’ sees the trio living together and launching a rival show and moaning about their recent sacking from the popular soccer programme. The trio are not alone as they are joined by a fourth member, Alan Curbishley who helps the lads get back on their feet. The first episode was released on Saturday the 12th September.There will be two further instalments were the trio get to grips with modern football and even get in contact with the spiritual world for guidance, tips and pointers!

Gang Back Together

Each episode will be steamed every Saturday on Paddy Powers social media channels.Paddy Power Commented , “ The Premier League is back in our lives once again, but there are some familiar faces that wont be on our screens for the first time in years.“ Or so you thought. We’ve managed to get the gang back together, and we see what their lives are like now as they live together and try to navigate the new world of football.“ We cannot confirm or deny how accurate it is to the truth.”  The operator has often found themselves in hot water for tongue-in-cheek campaigns, often featuring huge names who have found themselves out of a job. Paddy Power found themselves in the news again recently after vowing to plant 6,000 trees each time Arsenal lost a game, but later apologised after it was deemed as homophobic after a joke was mentioned in the ‘Fan Denial’ campaign video.Paddy Power have teased fans the second instalment is coming soon.https://youtu.be/N00cW8BgFKw
