MERKUR Slots has unveiled a new £200,000 entertainment centre on Sydenham Road, London. The launch is part of a multi-million-pound investment program. It aims to expand MERKUR’s presence on UK high streets.
UK Expansion Plans
The operator, part of the German-based MERKUR Group, plans to invest more than £5 million in the next year to open or refurbish existing venues in the UK. Each venue generates approximately ten new jobs. Moreover, over 600 roles have been created in the past 12 months through new openings and upgrades.

Every new venue we open creates an average of 10 new local jobs, and we have already generated over 600 jobs across the UK in the last 12 months through developing existing venues and opening new ones.”
