Little Red

The shortlist for the 2016 EGR B2B Awards has been announced, and iGaming software developer Leander Games has been shortlisted for two awards, to the delight of their representatives. This is the third time in four years that the developer has received a nomination in at least on category.

Nominations

Leander has been nominated in the Innovation in RNG Casino Software and RNG Casino Supplier of the Year categories, but neither award is going to be easy to win as competition is fierce to say the least. The Innovation in RNG Casino Software sees Leander facing off against some of the biggest names in the industry, including World Match, Microgaming, NetEnt, Odobo, GAMING 1 and Playtech. The RNG Casino Supplier of the Year looks to be arguably even more competitive, with Microgaming, NetEnt, Odobo, NYX Gaming Group, Quickspin and Playtech amongst the other nominees. In a company press release, CEO of Leander, Steven Matsell, said:“LeGa [the company’s innovative software platform] remains one of the last truly independent platforms. We are proud that it continues to stand out and that our hard work and achievements have once again been recognized by the industry.”Leander Games Makes Short-list For Two Major EGR Awards

EGR Awards

Since its inception, the EGR Awards have risen to a point where they are now seen as the most prestigious awards in the iGaming world, with NetEnt, Microgaming, and Playtech amongst previous winners. For an independent provider like Leander, who are still to an extent playing the role of small fish in a big pond, just to be nominated is a huge honour, and one can only imagine the kind of party that will occur at Leander HQ if they are victorious!
