Ladbrokes has described Dettori as the ‘ultimate fit’ for the bookmaker’s marketing and internal communication campaigns due to his status in the sporting world. In 1996, Dettori achieved the unbelievable by riding all seven winners at Ascot, so it is no surprise that Ladbroke’s have pursued him. In fact, Ladbrokes UK marketing director Dan Staples called Dettori ‘pure box office’.”Frankie has been the biggest name in the sport for two decades,” Staples continued. “His sporting passion for everything from Ascot to Arsenal is infectious and makes him stand out as the ultimate fit for our brand.”We can’t wait to get Frankie involved in work that is sure to excite our customers and colleagues.”
New Marketing Deals
Last year, the company’s CEO Jim Mullen revealed his intentions for Ladbrokes to become the bookmaker of choice for sports bettors. This prompted a number of marketing deals including one which made the company the headline sponsorship of the Scottish Professional Football League.We’re also expecting Ladbrokes to become a sponsor of the English FA, replacing William Hill.
