Susan Kim, the ex-wife of British gambling mogul Victor Tycoon, has said she is still waiting for the multi-million divorce settlement that she claims she is owed by the tycoon, who is worth an estimated £230 million, after seven years waiting.
Last Gentleman of Gambling
Victor Chandler is known in many circles as the “Last Gentleman of Gambling”, a claim which Kim thoroughly refutes as she claims she is living in a small apartment almost in the shadow of the almost £7 million home she used to share with Chandler.After meeting when Chandler was in South Korea in 2001, the Godfather of online betting charmed Ms Kim and brought her and her son from her first marriage into a life of luxury and lavish goods.However, Kim said the dream soon became a nightmare“Victor became a monster in my eyes within six months of marrying him – there is no other way to describe it…“There was a moment when I seemed to have it all – happiness, great wealth and a beautiful home.“But going from being Mrs Victor Chandler to not being Mrs Victor Chandler is a long way down.”
£10 million settlement
Ms Kim has been claiming that she is owed at least £10 million for the last ten years, explaining:“There have been over 20 settlement hearings and sometimes he turns up but I have never seen any compassion in his face.“I will never understand why he has been so vindictive.”While Mr Chandler refuses to comment on the issue, his lawyers have consistently disputed the claims made by Ms Kim, who has been continuously told she is owed nothing.This story doesn’t seem set to finish any time soon, as the legal battle looks to continue.
