Internal and external

Understanding and Expertise
In a statement, Aristocrat Chairman Ian Blackburne commented on Ramsey stepping down, and on him becoming a part of the firm’s board.“Pat’s intimate knowledge of Aristocrat’s operating environment, his understanding of digital gaming and his deep expertise in our largest market of North America – including his successful tenure as the CEO of a North American gaming business – will further strengthen the board’s capabilities.”
Excited about new Position
Mr Ramsey added to the comments from the Chairman, speaking of his decision to step down from his former position:“I am proud of the growth we have delivered to date in the digital business, and I am equally excited about our strategy and the potential we have yet to unlock,”Ramsey went on to add:“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to be part of Aristocrat as a board member going forward.”
Instrumental Part
It is pleasant to see a separation happen on such good terms, and it is likely that Ramsey will still be an instrumental part of Aristocrat from his new position on the board, who will take over his Chief Digital Officer position, however remains to be seen.
