Design and theme
Island Jackpots is set, as one would imagine, on a tropical island. The design choices here are interesting to say the least, with the main character, who is called Rich (obviously) being made in a block, cartoon-like fashion that is reminiscent of Terrence and Phillip from South Park.
With the long-lasting popularity of a slot based around South Park, this may not be the worst decision, and it definitely makes the site feel different, but it’s a design that will certainly not appeal to everybody.
The problem with the design work at Dragonfish sites is that it’s often all that sets one site apart from the next (due to the aforementioned content repetition), so something special needs to happen to capture the attention of the experienced online casino audience, who are tiring of the repetitive nature of Dragonfish sites, and Island Jackpots simply doesn’t accomplish that.

The software developers providing games to Dragonfish sites tend to be the same from site to site, but in some cases, there are less of them than others. Although island Jackpots doesn’t have anything that sets it apart from all its sibling casinos, it does have one of the widest selection of names amongst the network, with titles coming from 888 Holdings, Bally Wulff, Blueprint Gaming, Eyecon, IGT, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, NYX Gaming, PariPlay, SG Gaming, Thunderkick, and Williams Interactive.
As the name of the site suggests, there is more of a focus on jackpot games here than there is at other Dragonfish sites, and, to be fair, most online casinos in general.
Not only are jackpot slots like Millionaire Genie accessible directly from the homepage, there is also a jackpot counter that shows the total combined jackpot currently available from the site’s games, as well as an individual counter for each game.
Other slots are available in abundance here too, as are table and card games, but as with everything else, it’s nothing that feels special.
The jackpot collection is a nice touch, and makes Island Jackpots feel different, but does it feel different enough? It’s doubtful.
