Africasino Review
Africasino is a fun play on words, and for many, this is an important part of picking the right online casino. Okay, so many may be a strong word, but it’s definitely the case for some.
However, before you consider how much you do or don’t enjoy the name of this casino there’s something else to be aware of.
Being part of Equinox Dynamic means that Africasino is also associated with the Game Tech Group, an operator which, despite now being, by all accounts, entirely above board, has a difficult history with ethics.
Having previously been found offering bootleg NetEnt games as well as a host of other questionable activities, Game Tech is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a name that is not trusted by many in the iGaming world, and their association with the operator means that Africasino has a little more to do than most.
This is no easy position for this site to be in, as the online casino world is competitive enough, with a smorgasbord of established sites and a plethora of exciting new sites all competing for superiority.
As a result, Africasino has a lot of work to do if it’s going to not only stand out, but also rise above the history of those behind the scenes.
Design and theme
You know what to expect when you visit a site called Africasino and, for the most part, that’s exactly what you get. A pair of antlers play the part of the logo, while the banner scrolls through as much game artwork as possible that is even vaguely related to the concept.
As one would expect, there’s a lot of colour within this artwork, so maintaining a black and white colour scheme for the rest of the Africasino site is a sensible decision and one that avoids the design getting too much at any point.
Often with sites which are part of the Equinox Dynamic group, the design gets disappointing in a hurry as it only lasts for the length of the banner, but that isn’t a problem here.
That isn’t to say that there’s a lot going on past the banner, but the black background maintaining behind the thumbnails on the homepage (it’s white in most cases, and looks unfinished) is enough to keep the theme going throughout the entire of this site.
There’s nothing to write home about here, but there doesn’t have to be, instead, this is simply an excellent execution of a well worn theme, and one that works beautifully.
