Partnerships

There are not a huge number of games available from GW Gaming yet, but the established names they have behind them help a great deal when it comes to trust, and excellent relationships with Microgaming, specifically the Quickfire Platform, as well as Odobo and OpenBet goes a long way to help with this too.

You cannot find GW Gaming titles at many online casinos yet. However, the names that do offer GW games tell of the respect the company has, with bet365, Betfair, Mr Green, Paddy Power and William Hill all including games from the developer in their portfolios. This veritable who’s who of the biggest names in the online casino world is a testament to the quality of the games on offer from GW and the reputation they have managed to build in a relatively short time.

Security

When it comes to gaining trust as a new name in the online casino world, licenses are of the utmost importance, and GW Gaming is licenced and regulated by both The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC). NMi Metrology and Gaming Ltd have also tested and approved their games, showing a commitment to security and fair play.

Games

The GW Gaming website allows players to play free demos of a range of slot titles that the developer has available, including Gold Strike, Lab of Loot, Monster Spins, and Spinner Takes All.

For the most part, there is nothing particularly original about the themes chosen for GW games, but the work has gone into the gameplay and features on offer.

The one break from this pattern is also the most popular title that GW Gaming have released so far (although with the rapid pace with which the developer releases new games, this may not remain true for long), Lucky’s Empire.

Lucky’s Empire is set in 20th-century Chicago and follows a mafia boss, Lucky, who is taking full advantage of the money-making opportunities that prohibition has presented.

The graphics and animations are unique and eye-catching here, with a lot of effort going into making this slot truly immersive.

With five reels and 20 pay lines, Sticky Respins and several other entertaining features are available after every spin.

Lucky’s Empire is undoubtedly the stand-out slot from GW Gaming so far, and it’s no surprise that this game caught William Hill’s attention and led them to add GW Gaming titles to their collection.

One would hope that there is still better to come, which is an exciting prospect that promises great success for GW Gaming in the future.

Co-founder & Technical Director at Play Cash Games

Matthew Kennedy co-founded Take Marketing Limited in 2008 alongside Becky Mosley and has worked in the UK online gambling industry ever since. He runs the technical side of the operation, building and maintaining the platforms that power Play Cash Games and the wider Take Marketing portfolio.

Matt's role is hands-on. He writes the code behind the offer feeds, the comparison tools readers use, and the back-office systems that keep every casino listing accurate and current. If you have used a feature on this site, the chances are he built it. He is also responsible for site performance, mobile usability, and the technical SEO that lets a small independent comparison site compete with much larger publishers.

Over 17 years in the industry, Matt has worked directly with affiliate platforms, casino operators, and software providers. He has seen the market move from desktop Flash slots to mobile-first HTML5, lived through every iteration of UK Gambling Commission rules, and built the systems that keep our coverage compliant as regulation evolves. He has a particular interest in responsible gambling tooling and player-fund safety — the parts of the industry most people do not see but that matter most.

Matt is a Companies House registered director (Take Marketing Limited, company no. 07619813) and is based in Lincolnshire, England.
