Push Gaming released their dancefloor hit Jammin Jars back in 2018. Fast-forward to 2021 and we head back to the dancefloor once again with the sequel Jammin Jars 2. The sequel promises all the fun of the original slot and many new additions.

About Jammin Jars 2

Players immediately loved Jammin Jars, so after the announcement, a sequel was underway the anticipation of the new release reached an all-time high. Played on an 8×8 grid with no fixed paylines, it’s available on desktop and mobile devices, from 10p up to £100 per spin. The RTP starts off at 96.1% slightly below the original but rises to 96.6% as you play through the many levels. The design is similar to the original with the Giga Jar DJ complete with sunglasses and headphones smiling as you spin the reels. These are occupied with many fruity symbols and a pomegranate, 5 of these award 1.5x the bet.

Gameplay

As far as features go Jammin Jars 2 is packed with no less than 7 features. After a winning combination, the Collapse feature activates, symbols involved in the win fall away, apart from any wilds and new symbols fill the vacant positions. If a new winning cluster forms the feature repeats. If a Wild Jar symbol lands in the winning cluster, it shifts to an adjacent position and locks in place before the collapse happens. The Wild Jar symbol comes with a 1x multiplier, if it’s involved in a winning cluster it increases by 1x.Look out for the coin symbols with cash values attached, 5 in a cluster, the values are added, and your prize awarded. There’s up to 1,000x the bet up for grabs with this feature. After any win, a large graphic equalizer can randomly launch a giant fruit symbol or prize symbol onto the reels. The prize of the fruit symbol or prize symbol is calculated awarding your payout. To activate the free spins, you’ll need 3 or more Wild Jar symbols on the reels for 6 free spins. Each free spin comes with more Wild Jar symbols with increasing multipliers. The gold vinyl records are symbols to watch. After each one lands on the reels, they are collected in a meter. Where each Gold symbol landed a new symbol takes its place. There are 5 levels in this feature, depending on how many gold vinyl records you collect determines the RTP. The 5th level triggers the Giga Jar feature. All the symbols are removed from the grid and 3 to 4 Giga Jar symbols are added to the reels in random positions. The Giga Jar drops onto the reels as a 2×2, 3×3 or even a 4×4 prize symbol. 8 free spins are given and the Wild Jars (including increasing multipliers) again, shift position after every Collapse.

Verdict

Push Gaming has done an excellent job with Jammin Jars 2.  It’s a superb game packed with an abundance of features. The graphics are much sharper than the original and the lively soundtrack adds to the atmosphere as you play through the many features. Another positive is the total prize payout far exceeds the original at 50,000x the total bet per spin.
