Gameplay
The Book of Spells can only appear on the middle reel and can act as a wild to form a winning combination. It activates the Book of Spells feature where you can receive multipliers worth up to x5, extra wilds or a symbol upgrade.Landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters on a single spin will trigger the free spins and award you with 5, 10 or 15 free spins respectively. All symbols that land on the 3rd reel are collected in the cauldron below. Once you have collected 15 symbols, the Cauldron Combo Bonus will come into play and these symbols are returned to the reels to form another winning combo.During the free spins, the Book of Spells can upgrade the low value symbols in the bubbling cauldron into high value symbols, extra free spins, more wilds, and a multiplier boost. Verdict
The visuals are really well designed on this slot and I loved the animations. The downside is some of the modifiers were of no use if you didn’t land a winning combination. The free spins feature doesn’t trigger often enough; I feel they should have put more thought into the game. You can win up to x7,000 of your wager but the top prize is capped at £350k.
