Age of the Gods: God of Storms Design

This game is based on Aeolus, the Greek Mythology keeper of the winds and king of Aeolia, the floating island. The 5×3 reels are set in front of the harbour in Aeolia with large stone buildings to the side and an imposing fortress in the distance. The graphics are superb with incredible detail both in the background and on the reels.Symbols include 10 to A royals, a large sea monster, an ornate vase, an archer, Artemis the female warrior and a solider who is the most valuable. There is also a standard wild and the Argo ship wild which only lands on the central 3 reels.

Gameplay and Features

Each time you land a stacked ship wild, the Wild Wind Respins come into play. The God of Storms comes and blows the stacked wild along the reels as you play through a series of respins. With each respin, a multiplier is also applied, beginning with a 1x multiplier up to 5x on your 4th respin.Multiple stacked wilds can also be in play and can lead to some large multipliers, to a maximum of 2500x your stake. This slot is part of the Age of Gods progressive jackpot network and can trigger at random. When it does, all grid spaces are covered in jackpot coins which you have to pick, ranging from power (which starts at £50), extra power (which starts at £500), super power (which starts at £5,000) and ultimate power (which starts at £100,000) jackpot prizes. When you pick 3 identical jackpot coins, you’ll win that amount. The top jackpot drops approximately every 40 days and averages £488,000 each time with the top prize so far paying £852,000.

Verdict

This is a beautifully designs slot with engaging gameplay, but the real draw is the progressive jackpot. A nice addition to the Age of Gods series.
