The UK is widely considered to be the toughest online casino market in the world, so as they say, if you can make it there you can make it anywhere. Just three months are going through the extensive and intensive UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) license application process, it seems that Yggdrasil Gaming is all set to go live on British shores.
Popular In Europe
In a move that is effective immediately, online casinos that have software distribution agreements in place with Yggdrasil Gaming will be able to offer members the full suite of developer titles. Operating via the brand’s iSENSE 2.0 software platforms, Yggdrasil Gaming is already one of Europe’s most popular software developers, with innovation being the company’s calling card. What has held Yggdrasil Gaming back has been its inability to expose its products to true mainstream audiences. Thankfully, that is about to change as leading British online casinos such as Mr Green, LeoVegas, ComeOn, and Vera&John will soon be able to place Yggdrasil Gaming’s latest and greatest titles at the fingertips of players.
UK Crucial To Company’s Expansion
Speaking on the monumental rollout, Fredrik Elmqvist (Yggdrassil Gaming CEO) spoke on how he saw the UK market as crucial to the company’s expansion plans, “We’re thrilled to be live in the UK, which is now an extremely important market for Yggdrasil Gaming. We’ve had a very encouraging start given that we only received our license at the end of last year, and are already live with some operators”. He also spoke on the challenge that lies ahead for the developer, “The [British] marketplace is the most competitive in Europe, but we have a track record of succeeding in every market we enter, and I am confident our industry-leading platform and games will allow us to repeat the trick there”.
