When the football season ends, many eyes go to who will gain the sponsorships for the biggest teams in the world.Sponsorship is an excellent way to improve brand identity, and companies from the highly competitive world of online casinos have begun taking advantage of this increased attention more and more.The latest two companies to join the trend of football sponsorship deals with British clubs are Royal Vegas and LeoVegas.
Royal Panda and QPR
A three-year deal starting at the commencement of the 2017/18 season will see the Royal Panda logo adorning Queens Park Rangers shirts for the next few seasons.The deal makes Royal Panda the principal partner of the team, and will help with Royal Panda’s new venture into the world of sports betting.“We are absolutely delighted that Royal Panda are on board…” Said QPR commercial director Euan Inglis, adding:“We have a number of exciting initiatives in the pipeline that we are looking to activate around matchdays, which will include various promotions and half-time pitch activities, so the partnership will involve more than simple brand awareness.”
LeoVegas and Norwich City
LeoVegas have also signed a three-year deal, as the main sponsor to Norwich City Football Club.Speaking of his excitement about the new deal, managing director of Norwich City FC, Steve Stone, said:“We are delighted to welcome LeoVegas as our principal partner for the next three seasons, and as such they are making a vital commitment to Norwich City.“It has been a positive summer for the club commercially, and this lucrative partnership with LeoVegas will generate vital income into Norwich City. We very much look forward to working with them for the next three seasons.”
We can only assume that there will be more such announcements as we get closer to the next football season.
