Playtech have been making waves with the games that they’ve been releasing recently, with some amazing slots on offer from the provider including the Age of Gods and Batman series, but the developer is working hard behind the scenes too.The latest way that Playtech has strived to cement its place as one of the top developers around is with the recent purchase of slot and instant games provider Eyecon for £50 million.
Eyecon
Bingo fans will know Eyecon games well because they have been the staple slots of the Dragonfish network for many years. This does not seem likely to change, but Eyecon will now be part of the Playtech group.Eyecon is best known for their slots Fluffy Favourites and Irish Luck, although the sequel to the former, Fluffy Too, has also gained swift popularity with players.
Eyecon is known for serving the softer end of the market, both in terms of their games not being aimed at high rollers, and in that their themes are often very gentle. With the edgier games Playtech have been releasing in recent years, this acquisition adds another dimension to their portfolio.
