CasinoMax is a new online casino. This is a sentence that, for many casinos in the past, was a guarantee that a good stack of prospective players would at least take the time to check out what was on offer.
However, times have changed, and the number of new online casino sites has increased so dramatically, that the launch of a new one runs the risk of having the exact opposite effect on players, with most being turned off by most new sites, frankly, because there is already enough on offer.
That doesn’t mean a new online casino can’t have an impact, we have seen it happen with a few sites over the last year or so, but it’s far less likely than it once was, and new sites must work very hard not to be stuck grasping for mediocrity from their first day on the market.
This is the struggle facing CasinoMax, although being a site that accepts US players does help it carve out something close to a niche for itself.
It’s going to take much more than accessibility from the USA to keep this site afloat in the white-water rapids of competition that face it in the online casino scene however, so what does CasinoMax offer to ensure it finds the success it seeks?
Design and theme
With a name like CasinoMax, one would expect this site to look and feel like it has every intention of kicking the door in, bringing an adrenalin-fuelled design concept that will announce its arrival on the online casino scene.
But that is not what you get here, in fact, not even close. CasinoMax has a genuinely disappointing design theme, and the artwork is equally dreadful.
A good start, but when you go past that and arrive in the lobby of the site, you are faced with one of the dullest online casino designs you will ever find.
“The Ultimate Gaming Experience” is what CasinoMax claims to offer, but it doesn’t even look like it’s capable of giving an average one.
Navigation is simple enough, but not simple enough to make up for the boring and uninspired artwork on the site.
We’ve seen sites succeed before despite not looking great. All that is necessary to ensure people forget about the design issues an online casino has is offering a wide array of games that people can’t ignore.
Yet again, CasinoMax is on hand to fail appallingly at doing that. There are games available here, obviously, there’s some good ones in fact, from slots, to table and card games, to keno and other specialty games, but they are only supplied by one software developer, RTG.
Now, RTG make great games, they have a truly impressive portfolio, and it is always nice to see their games amongst the choices that are available at any online casino. But they are not among the choices at CasinoMax, RTG is the only choice, and that takes away all the variety necessary for this site to have any chance of standing out from the pack.
CasinoMax is one of the worst attempts at a new online casino that we have seen for a long time. It’s great that this site offers great promotions and access to US customers, but when everything else is terrible, what’s the point?
